Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (to tie the flavor together)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in a large pot of salted water until al dente (9-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear the steak tips for about 3-4 minutes per side. Set aside.
  4. Lower the heat and sauté minced garlic in the same skillet for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and milk; add cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Mix in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses along with Cajun seasoning until melted into a creamy sauce.
  7. Combine cooked linguine with the sauce, using reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  8. Serve topped with seared steak tips and garnish with fresh parsley.
