  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear the steak until browned on all sides, then set aside.
  3. In a large pot, cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente; drain and reserve some pasta water.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; season with salt, pepper, and additional Cajun seasoning if desired.
  6. Combine rigatoni with the sauce and add reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Fold in the seared steak tips.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper.
